About This Role
We’re seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our residential HVAC operations with a focus on overall operational and financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop business plans, manage budgets, and drive sales expansion while identifying market opportunities
- Operations Management: Oversee installations, repairs, maintenance, scheduling, dispatching, inventory, and fleet management while ensuring code compliance
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff in a positive work environment with clear performance expectations
- Financial Management: Manage P&L statements, implement cost controls, handle job costing and pricing
- Customer Relations: Address issues, ensure satisfaction, and manage online reputation
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce licensing requirements, certifications, safety protocols, and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years management experience in HVAC or construction (residential preferred)
- Proven track record in operations, sales, and business management
- Knowledge of residential HVAC systems, codes, and regulations
